Spekboom Cuttings

We can provide you with Spekboom (Portulacaria afra) cuttings at great prices. The cuttings are approximately 15 cm at R5 each. Order 50 or more cuttings with a 20% discount, i.e. R4 a cutting. Order 100 or more cuttings with a 50% discount, i.e. R2.50 a cutting. Courier can be arrange at buyer’s cost, such as Pudo or Postnet etc - the cuttings travel very well as they are very hardy plants.

The cuttings are also ideal for events such weddings or corporate functions (table decorations or gifts); great for gifting ideas; and even good for school projects as it can teach kids about their great attributes and our local flora.

Every home should have a least 1 Spekboom. They can be grown outdoors or indoors and can even be made into bonsais. They can even be grown as a hedge due to their dense growth habit. They are very easy to propagate and these cuttings will grow very easily. They are edible, with a very high nutritional value. They are rich in Vitamin C (immune booster), manganese, cobalt and magnesium. They improve the quality of the air we breathe and help fight climate change.

Spekboom are an easy-going low maintenance succulent indigenous to South Africa. They are very hardy plants. They are drought tolerant and can reach ages of up to 200 years! And another bonus, if more were even needed, they are pet-friendly.
